 Lynn Angle was elected as a director on the St Louis Women’s Bowling Association in 1993 where her involvement began as the Historian.  Throughout her tenure on the board, she served on most of the committees and was chairman for the majority most notably the Publicity Committee and as a result, was appointed a director for the Missouri Bowling Writers and soon became President from 2002-2006.  Lynn was awarded Life Member status in the Missouri Women Bowling Writers in 2006 and in 2002, was elected director for the National Women Bowling Writers and served five years on numerous committees.  She became a member of the Gateway Area Bowling Writers in 1993, served as President two terms, and awarded “The Old Timer of the Year” in 2007.

 
Lynn has won several awards over the years for publicity and photography.  In 2007, she received the Alberta Crowe Award for distinguished service in the communication field.  In 2002, she received the Mary Jannetto Award for promotion of local bowling.  These awards were from the National Women Bowling Writers.

Lynn also serves as a league secretary. She was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the St Louis USBC Association. She has been a WIBC/USBC member since 1970 where she has participated in many local, state, and national tournaments.  Lynn has bowled in 25 national WIBC/USBC tournaments and has won two St. Louis Women’s Bowling Association team titles and one all events title as well as two local Senior Tournament championships
 

Currently, she most notably volunteers annually for the Bowlers for Veterans Link Tournament and remains a delegate to the national and Missouri State conventions.

Garry Helferstay's outstanding achievement in bowling started as a youth, where he won four Junior Archway Tournaments, five Midwest Junior Classic title and nine Gateway Junior Classic Tournament wins. He was voted Bowler of the Year three times in Gateway Classics and Midwest Junior Classics. He was also on the 1st place team winning a Junior Regional Tournament in Omaha and was voted a “Star of Tomorrow” by the Greater St Louis Bowling Association.

His accomplishments continued to grow as an adult. He joined the St Louis Masters Travel League and was voted Rookie of the Year, Bowler of the Year three times and also three high average awards. He was voted to the All Star Team six times.
Garry Helferstay was voted Bowler of the Year by the Greater St Louis Bowling Association for 2001-02.  He had the High Average for the association the year before and some of his tournament titles include seven Gran Prix tournaments, first at the TNBA Singles in Atlanta, a Greater Ozarks tournament team titlist and first in the Missouri State tournament. Garry was a member of the team that finished fourth in the ABC tournament team event in Albuquerque.

Helferstay has 108 300 games, and 57 800 series with his highest being 858.  His highest season average was 242 in 2010-11.
